You first need to register (see FAQ2).

Login part is available from any page of the web portal, on the left. Login with your login/passwd provided by the Indeso service desk through the first email. Once logged in, you’re redirected to the home page of the web portal.

Browse the catalogue (see FAQ1) and click on “Add to cart” on the products you are interested in. If some products don’t have any “Add to cart” link, or you cannot click on it, the reason is that your user profile doesn’t allow you to access this product. If you consider it as a mistake, please contact the service desk (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Once the products are in cart, you can click on “Download” in the cart displayed on the top right of the page (see FAQ3 to add a product in the cart).

Then, depending on the nature of the product you want to access, different mechanisms are possible.

  •  If you want to access a radar and/or an optical product, you will be redirected to a page in a new tab, allowing you to select precise datasets included in the product. You will be able to visualize radar and/or optical data, however download mechanism is restricted and manual. You have to contact the service desk by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
  • If you want to access meteorological and/or oceanographic data (met/ocean dataset), a new page will be displayed. Then, you’ll have to select the dataset you want in the product, by clicking on “Choose a dataset” in the web page.
  • If the met/ocean dataset is gridded, you will be able to select the following parameters:
    • The variable
    • The temporal coverage
    • The depth coverage
    • The geographic zone

Then click on “Apply filters”. A new tab is displayed, informing you about the volume of data requested. You can click on “Download”. After a processing time, you will receive a data file in netCDF format.

If the met/ocean dataset is not gridded (pdf document, punctual data etc..), you will be able to select the temporal coverage you want.
